Digital Federal Credit Union Secured Card Review: Low Costs, High Hurdles

A low interest rate and lack of fees are great upsides for people with bad credit, but you’ll need to jump through a few hoops to take advantage of this secured card.

You don’t have to be in the military to get the Credit Builder Secured Visa® Credit Card from Armed Forces Bank, and it boasts some solid features, like allowing you to open a joint account and easily increase your credit limit. It also has a $0 annual fee, offers an upgrade path and reports to all three major U.S. credit bureaus.

Still, there are some caveats to be aware of, including a comparatively high minimum deposit requirement and a pesky hidden fee.
