Challenge
The Landings at Port Imperial aimed to reduce its environmental footprint and lower energy costs for its residents. Located in a highly urbanized area, the challenge was to integrate a solar energy system that would not only serve the energy needs of the property but also comply with local regulations and aesthetic guidelines while delivering measurable environmental impact.
Solution
We engineered and installed a 255.960 kW solar system that now provides 63% of the property’s energy usage. This system produces 325,498 kWh annually, significantly reducing the building’s reliance on traditional energy sources. The system’s installation helped the property eliminate 15.6 million lbs. of carbon emissions, plant over 312,000 trees’ worth of environmental benefit, and take 14.1 million miles off the road in terms of carbon offset.
