Challenge
New Jersey Cardiology is a medical cooperative facing the challenge of addressing the financial needs of both the building owners and the doctors who occupy the space. Both parties were eager to reduce their reliance on utility companies and embrace greener practices. However, the medical co-op lacked the physical space to accommodate the necessary solar panels, making the implementation of a solar energy system seem unfeasible.
Solution
Our team provided a solution by structuring financial incentives for the building owners to install a solar energy system on the building’s roof deck. The medical cooperative was able to lease “solar space” on the roof, allowing them to benefit from reduced energy costs without needing to directly host the panels themselves. This collaborative approach helped both the owners and the medical professionals achieve their sustainability and financial goals.
