Challenge
Berlin Medical Center presented a unique challenge as the first commercial solar installation for the company. Convincing the property owners to trust a relatively new solar installation company was a significant hurdle. Additionally, the state regulations at the time allowed for only 50kW per property to maximize incentives, limiting the solar system’s potential.
Solution
Our team designed and installed a smart rooftop system that effectively met the energy needs of the main building. The property owners were pleased with the installation and the resulting energy savings. After experiencing the benefits of solar on their main building, they entrusted us with the task of installing solar systems on the two additional properties that made up the medical center. The project ultimately covered nearly 90% of the center’s annual energy usage across all three buildings.
