Challenge
The Beachcomber Hotel had architectural plans to add a façade to the front of the building. However, the proposed design was not optimized for solar production and lacked efficiency.
Solution
Engineers collaborated with the hotel’s architects to design a structural pitched roof, boosting solar efficiency by 40% compared to the original façade plan. This new design maximized solar energy production, offering a far more sustainable and efficient solution for the hotel.
