Challenge
The Willow School, New Jersey’s largest “living” building, faced a unique challenge: every element of its solar energy system had to be designed using renewable components. The school was also held to a higher standard, needing to prove its environmental payback.
Solution
Geoscape Solar engineered a system that covered 96% of the school’s electrical usage while sourcing the required renewable components for installation. To meet the school’s accelerated payback benchmark, Geoscape Solar structured financing with a 3-year price guarantee for the State Renewable Energy Credits.
This project was developed by Jeff during his tenure as founder and head of business development at Geoscape Solar.
